About the athlete

Joel Fearon

Team GB Bobsledder and Sprinter

Starting as a track and field sprinter, Fearon quickly established himself as a sprinting superstar, clocking himself a sub-10-second time of 9.96 seconds over 100m, ranking in as the 3rd quickest Briton! Joel’s hunger for a new challenge led him to transition seamlessly from the track to the icy slopes of bobsledding, where his achievements sky-rocketed from there. Fearon earned his spot on the GB Team for the Winter Olympics, where his four-man bobsleigh team made Olympic history, achieving Britain’s best result since bronze in 1998!
